Dr. Alec Chaleff’s Biography
Dr. Chaleff graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology & Immunology. He earned his MD degree from the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine and was recognized at MD graduation for exceptional academic achievement and was the John and Elizabeth Ackermann Endowed Scholarship Award recipient as a USF medical student. He also earned an MBA degree from the USF Muma College of Business and graduated with beta gamma sigma distinction while concurrently completing medical school.
Dr. Chaleff proudly completed his ophthalmology residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Stony Brook in Long Island, New York. After his ophthalmology residency, Dr. Chaleff completed coveted fellowship training in cataract, corneal, refractive, and advanced anterior segment surgery at the renowned Price Vision Group in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Chaleff is a renowned academic scholar, with numerous publications in ocular disease and ophthalmologic surgery.
