Nathan Klein OD has a decade of stellar expertise in improving visual acuity by altering or tweaking the prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses. Frequently, utilizing the newest technologies in ophthalmics, Dr. Klein is able to enhance his patients’ vision for specific tasks such as night driving, working on computers, or reading. Nathan Klein O.D. is one of Florida’s foremost experts in scleral contact lenses which can be fit for the vast majority of patients who were previously unhappy or uncomfortable with contact lenses. These lenses provide sharper vision, greater lens wearing time, and easier handling, being especially helpful for those with dry eyes, keratoconus, irregular astigmatism, and Sjogrens Syndrome. Additionally, Dr. Klein has had stellar success with pediatric myopia management to slow and minimize the progression of myopia via individualized options including specialty contact lenses (MiSight), Orthokeratology, low-dose atropine eye drops, and myopia-control spectacles (Essilor Stellest lenses).

Dr. Nathan Klein is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He initially practiced in Memphis, TN as an Optometric Physician following his graduation in 2013. Dr. Klein developed expertise in comprehensive primary care optometry with special interests in Diabetic Eye Diseases, macular degeneration, glaucoma, pediatric myopia management, contact lenses (especially scleral contact lenses), and the newest ophthalmic technologies. For the past eight years, Nathan Klein OD has brought these superb skills and new treatments to Eye Surgeons & Consultants.
He was born and raised in Toronto. Growing up as the son of an optician, Dr. Klein developed a keen interest in enhancing vision and preserving eyesight. He worked at the family optical throughout his school years and vacations. He and his family spent 8 years in Memphis prior to relocating to Hollywood, FL.
He has been married to his wife, Leora, since 2010 and has three children, Allie, Layla, and Gabe. Dr. Klein enjoys spending quality time with his family in addition to cooking, exercising, and playing sports, especially ice hockey.
